Our Adult Care Services

We provide flexible domiciliary care and live-in care services that enable adults to remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Our support is tailored to individual needs and may include personal care, companionship, daily living support, and ongoing assistance as needs change. Each care plan is developed in partnership with individuals, families, and professionals and is regularly reviewed to ensure care remains safe, effective, and responsive. Our carers are trained, supported, and committed to delivering compassionate, reliable care that provides reassurance and peace of mind.

Children's Residential Services

S2O Care Services also delivers children's residential care, providing safe, stable, and nurturing environments for young people who require additional support. Our homes are designed to promote emotional wellbeing, structure, and consistency, helping young people feel secure and valued. We work closely with local authorities, families, and professionals to support each child's individual needs, development, and aspirations. Safeguarding, trauma-informed practice, and positive relationships are central to everything we do.

Supported Accommodation for Care Leavers (Aged 16–17)

Our supported accommodation services for care leavers aged 16 and 17 are designed to help young people transition confidently towards independence. We provide safe, supportive accommodation alongside practical and emotional support tailored to individual goals. Young people are supported to develop essential life skills, including budgeting, education, employment readiness, and independent living. Our approach focuses on empowerment, stability, and preparing young people for adulthood in a safe and structured way.

Our People & Approach

Across all our services, our teams are carefully recruited, trained, and supported to deliver care that is safe, compassionate, and consistent. We invest in ongoing training, supervision, and leadership to ensure high standards of practice and continuous improvement. We are committed to working in partnership with individuals, families, commissioners, and professionals to deliver services that are caring, well-led, and responsive — creating positive, lasting outcomes for those we support.

Our Adult Care Team

Staff delivering domiciliary and live-in care receive comprehensive, role-specific training that supports safe, effective, and person-centred practice. Mandatory training includes safeguarding adults, medication management, moving and handling, infection prevention and control, dementia awareness, equality and diversity, and supporting individuals with complex and long-term health conditions. Training is underpinned by competency assessments, regular supervision, and ongoing refresher programmes to ensure staff remain skilled, confident, and compliant with current best practice. Staff are trained to recognise and respond to risks, promote dignity and independence, and adapt care in response to changing needs. Strong leadership, clear governance arrangements, and continuous professional development ensure staff are well supported and services remain caring, responsive, and well-led.

Our Children's Care Team

Staff working within our children's residential services and supported accommodation for care leavers receive specialist training that reflects the complex needs and lived experiences of young people. Core training includes safeguarding children, child protection procedures, trauma-informed and attachment-aware practice, managing risk, mental health awareness, and positive behaviour support, including de-escalation techniques. Staff are trained to promote emotional wellbeing, build trusted relationships, and support young people to develop independence and essential life skills. Training is reinforced through regular supervision, reflective practice, and ongoing professional development, ensuring staff are confident, consistent, and child-focused in their approach. Leadership and management oversight ensure safeguarding is effective, practice is continuously improved, and young people are supported to achieve positive, meaningful outcomes in line with Ofsted expectations.
